YES!!!
With the help of our passionate volunteers, Boutique Cupcakes achieved our first day mission and baked around 5800 cupcakes in less than 12 hours! *That is almost 6000!!!*
Initially we thought the briefing at 9am might take long,
but who knows... the volunteers are all a fast learner(!)
hence, the quick pace work and success at the end of the day ;)
To be honest, it wasn't all green field at first.
We did encountered few setbacks such as electricity problem that was connected directly to the main oven...
We REALLY didn't know at first until we noticed that some of the first few batch was half cooked!
Being a passionate baker, we'd never settle on fail batches.
Hence, it was put aside and a fresh new batch is made again.
*yes.. we did wasted an hour or two*
But who cares?! We reached our target!!! XD
Aside from that, other problems were that few of our casings were faulty...
and trying to stick the cupcake onto it using a double tape and rushing to reach 5000 pcs is a bit stressfull and definitely a pain in the arse!

But at the end of the day, it was all worth it.
Everybody forgotten how difficult it was as soon as we reached our target of the day *and more than it should be!*
Lunch and dinner was provided by Mei's beloved mom.
It was very delicious and we felt like 1 big family for a day ;)
Oh! All volunteers were given their special Boutique Cupcakes Tshirt as well.
We'll all wear it for our special filming session tomorrow *yey*
We're so grateful to all the volunteers who helped us in making our first day target a success.

Now that every one is SUPER tired with aching back,
it's time to head off to bed, rest and get ready for the frosting job tomorrow!
